Thomas Massie Introduces Concealed Carry Reciprocity Bill for Washington D.C.

Just days after a shooting that left around two dozen Republican Congressman frazzled (and one in the hospital), fellow representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) has introduced a bill that would require the District of Columbia to recognize and allow all lawful CCW permit holders to also lawfully carry in the nation’s capital.

Washington D.C. currently has some of the strictest gun laws in the U.S. and consequently (stats from 2014) is in the top 10 counties with the highest murder rates in the nation. WTOP reports:

Thank goodness for people like Thomas Massie who understand that restricting the God-given natural rights of people (a few of which are enshrined in our founding documents) is the quickest and most acute path to the happiness, prosperity, and security of the human species.
