Top Ten NES Games That Are Still Fun Today

9) Super Mario Bros

Chances are, you have already played this title in one of it’s several remakes or re-releases, but if you haven’t, or if you want a true glimpse into what the game looked and felt like in it’s first side-scroller manifestation, I suggest playing the NES version. Its controls are easy to learn and the game is presented extremely well. I enjoy going back in time to when Mario was a lot less commercial and he was just a home-grown plumber trying to save the princess. It’s kinda like knowing a band before they get their big break! This is the game that started it all for many, many gamers, myself included!
