Top Ten NES Games That Are Still Fun Today

8) Battletoads/Double Dragon

One of my favorite side-scrolling fighters; this game has surprisingly good graphics for an NES title. Invite a friend over to play this game and you are both up for a fun-filled challenge. The Battletoads characters have some very interesting attacks: the boot, the wrecking ball and the anvil just to name a few. The SNES version is better graphically and the music is slightly better but the two are virtually identical in every other way. The comic relief of this game paired with the smooth controls and interesting level design make it something that can be enjoyed by every generation.
