4) Practice Alone
WoW has come a long, long way in terms of helping it’s players learn things without throwing them into the fire. Every class hall has training dummies. Use these to your advantage if you are DPS (“Damage Per Second“)so that you can learn your rotation and better yourself without making a random group pay the price. Proving grounds are also available to all classes. These are 1 player scenarios in which you must fulfill your role in a simulated group to pass. This helps you learn your character and your role if you have never performed this role before. My guild has tryouts for some of the Mythic + teams and the training dummies are what we use to measure DPS. I am sure we are not the only ones who use this as a first-cut process.
