5 Reasons Christians SHOULDN’T AVOID Wonder Woman

5) It is a simple fact that other beliefs exist.

I know that a lot of Christians are afraid to show their children the Wonder Woman movie because it has a different explanation for how the world and its inhabitants came to be. However, it is a simple fact that other beliefs exist. You cannot shelter yourselves or your kids from them forever. On the contrary, you shouldn’t. Part of having a strong faith is being certain by your own rationales that your belief is the absolute truth. Don’t be afraid of other beliefs. Rather, learn them so that you can challenge them and confirm your own.

Use the mythology of Wonder Woman as an opportunity to talk about our God, his creations, and his ways. Christians can’t keep burrowing down in our “Holy Huddles” as silent believers of such a powerful God. A God as powerful as ours calls for boldness as we preach his Gospel to all people. If we only talk about Jesus to the people in the church, the church will never grow.

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ~ Matthew 28:16-20
