Former advisor to President Obama’s White House, David Axelrod, tweeted yesterday that Hillary Clinton might want to consider skipping the last presidential debate. His comments come after Donald Trump suggested in a New Hampshire campaign rally on Saturday that the candidates ought to take a drug test before the debate.
“Athletes, they make them take a drug test, right? I think we should take a drug test prior to the debate … Why don’t we do that? We should take a drug test, prior, because I don’t know what’s going on with her, but at the beginning of her last debate, she was all pumped up at the beginning, and at the end it was like, ‘Oh, take me down.” – Donald Trump
Drug testing?!? You have to wonder if @HillaryClinton will/should reconsider next debate, given the depths to which this has sunk.

What do you think? Should Clinton skip the next debate? Is Axelrod framing the question in such a way as to give Hillary an easy out? Should the candidates be required to take a drug test before taking the stage like athletes sometimes do? Might there be something substantial behind Donald’s suspicion that Clinton’s utilizing performance enhancing drugs? Let us know on Facebook or in the comments below.
