Over the last few months, there have been quite a few accusations coming against many of the mainstream media outlets centering around a significant bias in tone and coverage in favor of Hillary Clinton. Sunday night’s debate showcased this as well, with questions being framed in a such a way as to favor Clinton (i.e. “What would you change specifically in the tax code to make sure the rich pay their fair share? [The top 20% of earners already pay 84% of income tax]) and moderators interrupting Trump with much greater frequency than Clinton (once even arguing in favor of Clinton with the Republican candidate).
The recent Wikileaks email release (today), revealing additional information about Clinton’s campaign (including their more than friendly relationship with the press) has been largely ignored by those members of the media who have clearly been carrying water for the Democratic presidential nominee thus far. Notice how the pro-Clinton media not only ignores the Wikileaks story altogether, but actively attack Trump instead.
