Senator Rand Paul yesterday voiced his displeasure with yet another of Trump’s short list contenders for Secretary of State — former General David Petraeus — stating that the man had been charged (and pled guilty) with indiscretions not unlike those Republicans just spent a good part of two years going after Hillary Clinton for (while she was in the office in question).

In case the details of Petraeus’ conviction are a little fuzzy, during the early part of 2015, it came out that he had provided classified information to the author of his official biography — a woman with whom he was having an affair. The general was fined $100k, and given a sentence of two years’ probation.
What do you think? Is Trump about to appoint someone guilty of the same crimes Hillary is accused of to the same position she held? Should Petraeus be disqualified for this reason? Let us know on Facebook or in the comments below.
