Top 10 Most Historically Significant Men of All Time

7) Henry Ford

ford

Henry Ford was an American businessman, industrialist and brilliant entrepreneur who is not only responsible for the development of the first affordable automobile (thus catalyzing the current status of motorized transportation as a staple of western society), but also for developing the first efficient methods of automated mass production (an innovation that revolutionized the consumer marketplace and made possible the current mass-market consumption culture enjoyed by most of the world today). Imagine contemporary society without these innovations. How enormously different would it be? Henry Ford changed the world.

“Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason why so few engage in it.” – Henry Ford
